It worked great for 2 years and then started to roll up in heavily used areas/edges so I had to get a different one.I have an old desk and the top was just destroyed by my kids’ arts and crafts over the years. Now my daughter is off to college and I need to work from home and this desk is totally fine except for the workspace area of it which when you think about it is a pretty crucial aspect of any desk. So I was wondering if I should trash this perfectly good desk or live with it (because let’s me honest I am not about to sand it down and repaint it, I am not about that kind of project, it always turns out more difficult and time consuming than you think it will be and then you’ve got mediocre results at best) when I stumble across this perfect solution. I shopped around for the right size and nice color and best price and this very product was a perfect Bingo. I’m thrilled with it.This has been a great choice to protect my desk.Perfect for WFH! I bought this because WFH has me at my kitchen table with two monitors, a laptop, docking station, keyboard and mouse. My table is black, and a the wood a little soft. I was worried about leaving marks or scratches all in my one little corner. At first, I was using a towel. But after the months starting rolling buy, I figured there had to be a better option! This is just what I needed. Everything fits, i have room to one side for an area to take notes. The mouse works on it and it wipes clean easy. I got the one that is black both sides, and it looks very nice on my kitchen table. Blends right in.I put this desk pad on my glass top desk, and it has made the desk much more comfortable and functional. I don't have to worry about a mousepad for an optical mouse. It eliminates the smudgy/sticky issues that made the glass top desk experience less than enjoyable. When I need to use my phone to "scan" receipts, I can do that on the desk, instead of hunting around for a spot without the glare from the glass desktop. I unrolled the mat and laid it on the floor overnight before putting it on the desk, and haven't had any problems with it curling.This desk pad works great, but it gives off a really strong odor. I've had it for a few days now and the smell hasn't faded, in fact the odor permeated the room and consumed my thoughts and sleep...It's not a stinky odor, but reminds me of leather & chemicals, or that fake leather smell?Right before writing this, I finally moved it out of my room and plan on airing it out for a month to see if that makes things better. I definitely feel better now as well.Again, I love it and will use it in the future once the scent eventually fades.ETA: the smell finally faded and I'm a happy customer.material is easy to clean, unrolled flat with out fold markI love for my office to be a beautiful space and to be color coordinated and organized. This beautiful color of blue makes me happy even when I am working long and stressful days. It protects my desk and is thick enough to be durable but not overly cushioned. It is a firm dense cover that is also reversible just in case your mood changes!Oh wow ! I just love the color of the desk pad. Yellow and dark blue. It is leathery and good quality. It makes you workstation more pleasant to the eye. The surface is smooth and allows my mouse to move around smoothly .The size is good and feel great. I havent used it enough to confirm if it the layer peels off . But for now it is amazing.Bought two for opposite ends of a small table so we could put our computers on it. It is the perfect size and keeps the table protected. It would probably slide around if the table was bigger or we had less items on it. I just wipe it clean and use the black side up.
